A traveling pop-up workshop with an approachable aesthetic developed to empower local communities with tech know-how

Grow with Google is a national tour that offers free workshops, in-person training, and one-on-one mentorship on Google’s applications to give professionals, students, and small business owners the tools to grow their skills, careers, and businesses.

With the need to travel from city to city, the set was developed as a modular environment able to adapt to any site. The graphic identity system, created in collaboration with Google’s Brand Studio, also took into account the tour’s itinerant program. For each city stop, we integrated illustrations based on symbols, landmarks, and cultural icons onto event collateral, signage, and photo moments.

As a modern nod to the workshop theme, untreated blonde woods with exposed joinery and custom peg board signage elements were implemented across the build. This created a cohesive environment for the pop-up within any venue. Google’s brand colors were then used to delineate the various zones.
